Something, which we all take for granted, is the comforting feeling of being warm, especially in the Autumn and winter months. Warmth gives us a feeling of security and well-being. Underfloor Heating is a way of finding this well-being and is ideal for use with modern condensing boilers using low temperature hot water.
With no unsightly radiators and being maintenance free, Underfloor Heating provides room-by-room temperature control. It also provides warmth underfoot all year round and being economical, lower fuel bills should be expected.
What is Underfloor Heating?
Underfloor heating provides a near perfect temperature profile linking floor and ceiling due to an even-handed blend of radiant and convected heat. By using radiant heat underfloor heating ensures you feel comfortable even at a lower air heat than that produced by a more conventional heating system. With conventional central heating, the mainstream of heat is convected air, which rises, making the ceiling one of the warmest places in the room. However, 50% of the warmth generated by underfloor heating is radiant heat, where the floor releases heat equally, which is then immersed by persons and objects in the room with very little managing to escape.
